Stuff-A-Bus Collection at Each School
Description
Stuff-A-Bus, Pine-Richland’s annual toy drive, is just around the corner! This toy drive supports the Marine’s Toys for Tots through the 96.1 KISS FM Mikey & Bob “Stuff -A-Bus”. It helps children and families less fortunate, specifically in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, during the holidays.
Pine-Richland High School’s Student Government has organized the community outreach event for the district for the past few years. P-R has been known to surprise the 96.1 KISS FM morning hosts on the last day of the toy drive with buses filled with toys. In 2013, P-R delivered 7 buses filled with toys. This year is the first year that we have all six schools in the district participating! With this district-wide opportunity to join forces, P-R is aiming to fill 8 buses in 2014!
On Sat., Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., PRHS students will be at Walmart on Route 8 encouraging customers to purchase a toy to donate to Stuff-A-Bus. If you’re in the area, come out and support our district’s community outreach project! Toys can also be dropped off at any school in the Pine-Richland School District during the week of Nov. 24–26 and Dec. 2–4. These toys can be new or gently used for children of all ages. Please do not wrap them.
All toys will be picked up from schools on Thur., Dec. 4. The last morning of the toy drive, Dec. 5, a group of PRHS students will head down to Monroeville to deliver all the buses filled with toys collected by our district. Be sure to tune in to 96.1 KISS FM on Dec. 5 between 9-10 a.m. to hear Pine-Richland on the radio!

Thank you so much for everyone’s support in advance. Let’s make this the best holiday season for all Pittsburgh families! Happy Holidays and Go Rams!
