Important Message from Northern Regional Police


Dear Parents,

In cooperation with the Northern Regional Police Department, Pine-Richland School District is alerting parents of a report of a possible attempted child luring case.

At about 3 p.m. on March 25, 2013, a 17-year-old female student got off the school bus at Grandview Drive and Oakhill Drive. When she got off the bus, a driver in car stopped his vehicle and asked her "Do you need a ride? It is cold out there." The victim refused a ride after being asked the same question three times.

The driver was driving a car that is being described as a:
  • Four-door, dark/navy blue (almost black with a faded hood) older model car

The diver was was described as a:
  • Clean-cut, white male (between the ages of 20 to 30 years old) with dark eyes & spiked dark hair

The vehicle continued on Grandview Drive traveling into the Grandview Estates Housing Plan. Anyone with any information on this vehicle or driver is being asked to contact the Northern Regional Police at 724-625-3156 or 724-625-3157.
